Ky-Mani is among the richest and most well-known Reggae Singer who was born on February 26 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He was in Shottas together with another vocalist Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records where he recorded his first album in the year 1996. With Father Like Son and several singles including Judge Not With Patra then Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Fit (remix) as well as Sensimelia All of these contributed to his growing reputation in the new generation of reggae artists. In 1997, Ky-Mani formed a band with Praswell (Fugees) on Avenue a hit cover version that was a cover of the song by Eddy Grant Electric Avenue.
