Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri is an Indian actress, who gained fame for her role in the film Hum Aapke Hin Koun as well as Beta Saajan. She started her career in her twenties. The role she played in the role of Anil Kapoor in the film Tezaab made her extremely well-known. Then, she starred alongside Aamir as part of Dil. In Mumbai, she was raised by middle class parents. When she was a young age, she started to study dance. She started acting when young and fought for several years because many of her early films failed. Eventually, she found success with Indian film and climbed to the top. After her marriage the actress took time off from acting prior to returning. Recently, she played a prominent role as a character in Gulaab Gang. The film focused on the struggles of women across India. Dixit has been nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she won eight. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honour in India. Her work in the field of social service is well-known.
